A3. Nursing module on the treatment of anemia in different settings
Welcome to the Nursing Module on treating anemia in different settings!
In recent years, much progress has been made in understanding the pathophysiology of inflammatory or chronic anemia and the advantages of its treatment in different contexts , such as in nephrology, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology and its optimization in the surgical patient to avoid transfusion. The parenteral therapeutic approach to anemia has the fundamental participation of nursing and we believe that an updated knowledge of anemia and its treatment, from a very practical perspective, can help improve clinical safety, as well as improve their confidence in treatments that posed higher risk in the past.
Your involvement and help in this field is important to advance the parenteral treatment of anemia and iron deficiency in different specialties, with the benefit that it can bring to patients.
