--> Course Management of critical respiratory patients

Management of critical respiratory patients

We are increasingly aware that COVID-19 has come to stay, at least for an indeterminate period of time. Its recurrences will periodically stress the health system, with a greater or lesser impact depending on the health measures that are established at all times.

In this context, the pulmonologist's mission has been reinforced in the management of critically ill patients, either in specialized units (such as the UCRIs - Intermediate Respiratory Care Unit) or in multidisciplinary settings (emergencies, COVID rooms, etc.) .

At times, the management of these patients is carried out by subspecialized pulmonologists, but very often more medical personnel are required, for whom respiratory support techniques are not so common.

That is why we have designed this course together with pulmonologists specialized in the care of critical patients and especially patients with COVID-19.

We hope it can be of use to you, and especially for our patients.
